Sustainability kick-off event

In light of the dramatic progression of the climate and biodiversity crisis and our social responsibility as an educational institution, universities must also make their contribution to sustainable development.

Sustainable development thrives on participation, on the joy of creation and on self-efficacy bundled as a community. In his role as Vice President with responsibility for this area (since 1.1.2023), Prof. Ralf B. Schäfer, on behalf of the RPTU Sustainability Team, invites all RPTU students and staff to participate in the transformation processes within our university.

Kick-off event "Sustainability at RPTU" for the areas of research, teaching, transfer, operations, governance and the university community:

• RPTU in Landau on 24.05.23, from 12-13.30 on the Künstlerwiese (in case of rain in the Atrium)
• RPTU in Kaiserslautern on 15.06.23, from 12-13.30 at the Amphitheater (between building 44/46 and Mensa)

The Sustainability Team will then also provide information about further opportunities for participation and co-design in the area of sustainability.
