The RPTU Facebook Netiquette

We have set rules for the use of the Facebook pages at RPTU. Here we also explain how we intervene in the event of breaches of this netiquette.

Our Facebook page thrives on direct dialog; your comments and likes are what make our page what it is. That's why we welcome an active exchange and diverse contacts.

We are also happy to deal with constructive criticism, but the tone should always be polite and respectful. This is important to us, which is why we have listed a few points in this "netiquette" that we do not accept on our site:

The following are not welcome

  • political or religious messages
  • racist, extremist, pornographic, insulting, defamatory or business-damaging comments
  • incitement to violence against persons, institutions or companies
  • the publication of personal data or data of others (e.g. addresses, e-mail addresses and telephone or student numbers)
  • misuse of the comment function as advertising space for websites or services (spam)
  • the commercial or private offering of goods or services

We reserve the right to hide or delete comments and posts that contain illegal content and/or violate the above points and to exclude and report their authors from our site. We also reserve the right to make changes and additions to the content of these guidelines.

Please also note the general netiquette of the Facebook community(https://www.facebook.com/communitystandards) and the terms of use(https://www.facebook.com/terms.php).
