Children's University

Back in the lecture hall at last!

We are very pleased to be able to offer seven exciting topics as children's university events in the lecture hall again this summer semester.

How can 8 - 12-year-olds take part in the Children's University at RPTU in Kaiserslautern?

Please register your children for the Children's University events (duration: approx. 45 minutes) using our online registration form. Participation is free of charge.

Immediately before the start of each Children's University event, we will confirm attendance of the lecture on the Children's University ID card.

The seven lectures take place on Wednesdays from 4 pm. The lecture hall for each event is indicated on the Children's University poster.

Children's UniversityDIPLOM

All children who have taken part in at least five Children's University lectures will receive a diploma certificate!

KULE - Children's University Reading Corner

The KULE is located in the Central Library (Building 32). As part of the KinderUni, children from the age of 8 can find books and magazines from many subject areas as well as educational software, educational games and information from the Internet. This collection is marked with a "K". Children can apply for a children's ID card with the signature of a parent or guardian and use it to borrow all the media in the KinderUni reading corner.

What parents say about the children's university

"I thought the events were very successful, great praise to all those involved."

"I studied here myself in 1986 and I think it's a great way to introduce children to the mystery of university, so that it's a little easier for them to decide to study later."
