The Department of International Affairs (RefIntA) supports the departments, students, and the university management on behalf of all international aspects. The goal is to increase the international alignment of study, teaching, and research at RPTU; to support the University, its departments, and institutions in the development and implementation of new strategies, and to ensure the quality of these concepts and measures. The main tasks of this unit include:

• University partnerships
• Study Abroad Programs (Erasmus etc.)
• DAAD-programs & projects (StiBet, CsF, Profin, etc)
• Logistic support of international students & PhDs
• Specially tailored programs & integrative measures, such as Orientation & German courses
• Offers of extra-professional & interdisciplinary further education for international students and PhDs
• Raise & administration of third-party funds & scholarships as well as the implementation of project grants
• Recruitmentof highly-qualified international students & PhDs & International alumni-networking
