The Idea behind the ISGS Networking Dialogs
Since 2010, the ISGS offers informal dialogs in relation to its Career Services for international and German (Post)Graduates. These up-close and personal meetings at the university offer the chance of getting in touch with executives from different disciplines and learning about "their way" of starting and leading a career as well as reflecting on it.
In general, ISGS networking dialogues want to give hints on the following aspects:
- Competencies and character traits of an executive
- Main professional tasks of an executive in science, industry or politics
- Decision-taking and its background
- Introduction of different career paths
- Surviving as an executive on the globalized market
Apart from this, these dialogs simply offer the chance of meeting executives personally, learning about their opinions and how to present oneself and one's career paths or even one's personality to successful leaders in science and technology!
