At RPTU, the key principles for research integrity are the "Guidelines for Safeguarding Good Scientific Practice" of the German Research Foundation (DFG) and the recommendations of the "Joint Committee on the Handling of Security-Relevant Research" of the DFG and the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina.
The "Good Scientific Practice" ombuds committee and the "Ethics of Security-Relevant Research" ombuds committee at RPTU provide support for questions relating to the integrity of research .
Quality assurance in research is carried out in close cooperation with the RPTU's internal and external research advisory boards. The two advisory boards advise the university management on strategic research issues, in particular on the design of the research initiative.
The Doctoral Ombuds Committeeis available to RPTU doctoral students for questions and problems during their doctorate. RPTU also implements the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers as part of the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R).
